Happy Hunting in London
Mar 29th
So, dear old London Town was host to some rampaging Stags last week. Hundreds of delighted Stag spotters clambered for a chance to get a close up sighting of the muscular beasts.
They got their first Stag display on Wednesday at the Hoxton Underbelly, where with the wonderful help of the brilliantly named Antlered Man, and the stunning (they are) ONE the Stags performed their ritual rutting ceremony for ecstatic punters.
Luckily we had some keen wildlife cameramen with us and we managed to capture some never before seen footage, so keep watching for that in a few weeks.
Then on Friday night, in a much more relaxed atmosphere, the Stags grazed pleasantly at The Armoury with guest fawn Helen Lawson, who gave a beautiful acoustic set before joining the boys on stage for a rousing duet. With more time given to rock n roll classics than Stag anthems, the party atmosphere continued as most of the Stags headed off into the Soho night, whilst a lone Stag was last seen stampeding towards Wandsworth….
It seems that because the migration has proved so successful, the visit is to be repeated. Set your alarms for the 18th May when the Stags will return to London for a show at 93 Feet East. More details and supports to be announced, so stay tuned, and Happy Hunting!
